We don’t always do this…! But for a variety of reasons -experienced staff going to college, new staff going on vacation, air conditioners deciding to retire, etc etc - it seems the Universe is telling us to Take A Short Break :-) We’ll be reachable by email, but not by telephone, from 20 August thru 29 August. We’ll return to the shop on 30 August.
Join us from 10am to 5pm on Main Street and Broadway in Downtown Nyack as we celebrate SpringFest with live bands, great food, and hundreds of vendors offering unique crafts, jewelry and more!
It’s a great day for the whole family, and while you’re there, check out Nyack’s one of a kind shops, pubs and fabulous restaurants. No pets are allowed, by order of the Village of Nyack.
Don your most daring costume and join us in Nyack for a frighteningly fun Halloween Parade on October 29, 2022 at 5:30pm! (Rain Date: October 30)
Please pre-register for our Costume and Float Contests by October 28 at midnight. All costume and float contestants must check in with the judges in Memorial Park, starting at 3pm.
Parade steps off at 5:30pm, and winners will be announce in the Main Street parking lot directly following the parade.
Special thanks to parade sponsors: Village of Nyack, Nyack Ridge, and Hotel Nyack.
New this year – join us for our first-ever Pet Costume Contest – dress your pets in their most daring or darling costumes and enter them to win great prizes!
Since we don’t want our scaly, furry, or feathered friends to get spooked by the parade crowd, the Pet Costume Contest will be held as a pre-parade event, separate from the traditional costume and float categories.
Judging for pets begins at 12pm in Nyack Memorial Park, and awards will be distributed at 1pm. If you and your pet would like to participate in the parade itself, please return to Memorial Park between 3pm-5pm to prepare for the parade step-off at 5:30pm.
The Nyack Famous Street Fair will return to our historic rivertown from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, October 9, 2022. All types of festival foods will be available as well as Nyack’s many outdoor cafes and restaurants. Be sure to make a stop at the NY Soda Jerks for one of their old fashion soda or egg creams.
